¡Explora! – X Studio: STEM Scholars Program
The STEM Scholars Program is for Black, Indigenous, or Hispanic high school seniors in New Mexico who have a strong career focus in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and plan to major in a STEM subject at a New Mexico institute of higher education or trades school. (Applicants may also describe their proposed alternative pathway to a program that will result in licensure or accreditation within a STEM career field (for example, as a dental hygienist).) The overall award includes: (1) a $2,500 scholarship; (2) eligibility to join the Explora! - X Studio: Career Pathways Program; (3) academic support and mentorship; and (4) participation in Explora STEM Scholars summer orientation program, with access to college readiness supports, mentorship opportunities, and more! In addition to the requirements listed above, applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 on an unweighted 4.0 scale and arrange for submission of a letter of recommendation and an official high school transcript. Award selection is based on academic merit, personal qualities and strengths, and the letter of recommendation.

10,000 Degrees Scholarships
10,000 Degrees provides scholarships up to $1,500 per student per academic year to students with significant financial need who exhibit a strong desire to go to college and accomplish their educational goals. The majority of the scholarships 10,000 Degrees administers are available to students from the following San Francisco Bay Area regions: Marin, Sonoma, San Francisco, Contra Costa, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Napa counties. By submitting the 10,000 Degrees Scholarships application, students automatically apply to ALL available scholarships currently administered through 10,000 Degrees based on their eligibility. Applicants must: (1) provide information showing financial need; (2) be enrolled in a program leading to their first Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, Graduate degree, or professional training certificate; and (3) must be enrolled in an average of 12 academic units per term during the following academic year (or full-time as designated by school). All scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis, including meeting eligibility requirements, financial need, and personal statements. Many scholarships are renewable for up to four years or more. Eligible colleges and universities must be accredited through an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education and participate in the Title IX federal student aid program.

100 Hispanic Women National, Inc. Young Latinas Leadership Institute (YLLI) Scholarship
The 100 Hispanic Women National, Inc. Young Latinas Leadership Institute (YLLI) Scholarship was created to prepare young Latinas to succeed academically and professionally, create social change, and meet the challenges of leading in the 21st Century. YLLI provides eligible candidates in 4-year degree-seeking programs with an annual tuition scholarship award of $1,000 in each undergraduate year. Students are selected to receive grants based on demonstrated academics, community service, volunteer, and leadership activities. In addition, to be eligible, applicants must: (1) be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident; (2) have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher; (3) have recently completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); and (4) maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher throughout the four (4)-year undergraduate program. Recipients also must participate in the annual YLLI Award Ceremony and two (2) annual workshops sponsored by 100HW National, Inc.

100 Hispanic Women National, Inc.: Shirley Rodriguez Remeneski Public Policy & Administration Scholarship
The 100 Hispanic Women National, Inc. (100HW) Shirley Rodriguez Remeneski Public Policy & Administration Scholarship (SRR Scholarship) provides Latinas with an annual $1,000 award for two (2) years while enrolled in 2-year Associate Degree in Public Policy & Administration, Health Care Administration, or public service related field. Students are selected to receive grants based on demonstrated academics, community service, volunteer, and leadership activities. In addition, to be eligible, applicants must: (1) be a Latina student currently enrolled in a Community College as a full-time undergraduate freshman pursuing an Associate Degree in Public Policy & Administration, Health Care Administration, or public service related field; (2) be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident; (2) have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher -or- cumulative GED score of 3000 or higher -or- cumulative TASC score of 3000 or higher plus 2 or more points on Writing essay; (3) have recently completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); (4) maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher throughout the Associate degree program; and (5) Commit to transfer to a Senior College as full-time Bachelor Degree student directly upon completion of the Associate Degree Program. Recipients also must participate in the annual YLLI Award Ceremony and two (2) annual workshops sponsored by 100HW National, Inc.

Actuarial Foundation: Actuarial Diversity Scholarship
The Actuarial Diversity Scholarship promotes diversity within the profession through an annual scholarship program for Black/African American, Latinx, Native North American and Pacific Islander students. The scholarship award recognizes and encourages the academic achievements of full-time undergraduate students pursuing a degree that may lead to a career in the actuarial profession. Scholarships range from $1,000-$4,000. Each applicant must: (1) have at least one birth parent who Black/African American, Latinx, Native North American, or Pacific Islander; (2) enrolling as or enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at a U.S. accredited educational institution; (3) have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale), emphasis on math or actuarial courses; (4) be an entering college freshmen; (5) have a minimum ACT math score of 28 or SAT math score of 620; and (6) be intent on pursuing a career in the actuarial profession.
