Forget the “Ironic Boat and Tote” — we’re starting a new trend!

Lately, there’s been a lot of talk on Insta, “el dichoso TikTok,” and other places, about the Gen-Z “Ironic Boat and Tote Trend.” (If you’re not a preppy, we forgive you for not knowing what this is.) Basically, some clever Gen-Z’ers are replacing the typical monograms on their tote bags with joking, tongue-in-cheek words like psycho, Scorpio, Gucci. . . anything funny or self-deprecating that you wouldn’t expect to see on a casual bag.

That got us thinking (of course!) – that we “teenz” need to take this trend in a new direction. So we’re officially starting the “Latino-gram Backpack Trend.” Here are some ideas to get you going!
